We took our cat to Edita for dry bath and hygiene trim. Edita was extemely helpful on WhatsApp to arrange the appointment and service. When we arrived for the appointment Edita was very welcoming and clear in what she was going to do. She did a great job brushing our cat down trimming nails and hygiene trim. Our cat now looks very clean and tidy. Thank you for a great service.

Pet Universe is excellent. Edita and her team made our Maine Coon cat feel really relaxed and the grooming service was brilliant.

Wow where to begin,
Our 8 year old Mainecoon girl has always hated being brushed and regularly choses violence when we try to groom her at home resulting in a matted unkempt coat.
For the last few years we have taken her to the vets for a clip under sedation to try and keep on top of the situation,
This is stressful for us all.
I found Pet Universe online and thought id give them a try.
Im so happy we did, the calm kind and professional care our cat received was truly wonderful and the beautiful lion clip is the best she has ever looked,
Thank you so much, you certainly have impressed us and we will definitely be back regularly .

My cat Geez is a long haired cat. He is a very adventurous outdoor cat and is extremely independent. He HATES being brushed.
I took him to Pet Universe for a Lions Mane cut as he was quite matted as a result of his boisterousness and he has become so much more chilled out and loving since his hair cut :)
He is so much happier, seems to be sleeping better and just generally loves being stroked more!
Highly recommend, even if your cat choses violence lol, they managed him so well and he looks so cute :D

Me and my sister have been bringing our cats here for a while to be groomed. Without fail the cats are shaved, bathed and groomed fantastically! Edita is absolutely lovely and super friendly that my anxious cat always warms up to her. Would definitely recommend to anyone for both cat and dog grooming!

I have been coming to pet universe for 15 years, the service is out standing, a great team especially Edita who is so kind and passionate and shows so much love towards our cats. would never go anywhere else. definitely recommend Pet Universe, if anyone is looking for a first class grooming salon.

Pet universe have done an excellent job of grooming my cat. He’s large, fluffy and very very angry and I honestly didn’t think anyone would be up to the job but they somehow manage it without injury! Highly recommend!

I was so impressed with the team of ladies working here. They are incredibly friendly and truly caring, with a clear love for the animals they tend to. They provided amazing care for my cat, Zuko, during his full grooming treatment, and the results were wonderful – he looked and felt so much better.

I found this local groomers on google read the greys reviews, gave it a couple of tries to then realise they didn’t like my dog. They would always complain about him, bear in mind he’s still quite young and excitable. I was told to get him groomed every 6-8 weeks and the cost would be £65, one time it ran over the 8 weeks due to health problems I had, bear in mind they did not care, they decided to charge me an extra £10 on top of the £65 all because I was a week late!! I think this is disgusting. All they want is money. The main lady Svetlana is extremely rude, does not know how to speak to her customers. I have found a much better groomer, and who charges HALF the price! So do NOT waste your time here!!!

We have brought our dogs here for many years however recently the experience has become a terrible one. The service has gone from being top notch to being negligent at best! The new groomers seem to have no knowledge of what is required in a groom, needing to be spoon fed instructions on how to groom a golden retriever.
They also quote one price over the phone and then try to bump up the price once I arrived. To try and charge £80 to only wash and brush a dog is robbery. Despite paying the extra cost, my dog has come back with matted bits in her knickers, for £120, this is unacceptable.
Do yourselves a favour and take your custom elsewhere in a nicer location with more knowledgeable and reasonably priced groomers.

Had a lovely experience with my long haired cat going in for a full grooming and dry bath. Booked well in advance, sent in photos to get an estimate of pricr beforehand. Grooming session always comes with a complementary claw clipping.

I’ve been to this groomer a few times, and every visit left my dog looking sad and stressed afterward. Each time, she claimed my dog was ‘too matted’ and insisted he needed a full shave, despite my polite requests to use extra conditioning. I even explained I was traveling, and other groomers had managed to brush him without shaving, but she refused to listen.
Her attitude is rude and lacks compassion, constantly reminding me to be on time as if it’s a factory, not a place for pets. After my third visit, when she once again refused to do anything but shave my dog, I expressed my disappointment, and her response was, ‘Good luck finding a groomer who won’t shave him.’
Well, I did find an incredible groomer!!!who took her time, used conditioning, and reassured me that my dog was not matted—just a few small tangles. Unlike this groomer, they genuinely care about the dogs and treat them with kindness. If this place doesn’t change their attitude and approach, they’re sure to lose many more customers.

My ragdoll cat, George, is difficult to groom because he gets scared and aggressive. We tried two other groomers - and even tried to do it ourselves - before discovering Edita at Pet Universe. She somehow works her magic on him, calming him down so much that he allows her to do a complete groom - something he wouldn't do with anyone else. Afterwards, George looks beautiful and, best of all, he is amazingly calm and happy. We didn't think this was possible. Thank you, Edita!

I take my Samoyed, Ezri, here for grooming. They do a fantastic job and Ezri is always relaxed and happy to go to the groomer. We always get compliments on how beautiful she is after a groom!

It was my first experience taking my cat to a groomer, and I was pleasantly surprised by how it turned out. My cat is quite anxious, so I was a bit apprehensive about how she would handle being left there. However, she did remarkably well during her wet bath and full pampering session. The groomers took excellent care of her, and she allowed them to work their magic. When I brought her home, she looked incredibly clean, soft, and relaxed.
I think she genuinely enjoyed the pampering, as she kept seeking out pets and wanted her fur brushed. I will definitely be returning for another session and would highly recommend this groomer to others!

From the very first moment we step inside the salon we were greeted with kind and politeness.
The groomers were very gentle and friendly with my cat.
They explained exactly which service my cat needed as it was our first visit.
When we came back to collect our cat, I was surprised to see how good my cat looked. She seemed happier and more comfortable and also she looked very fresh.
Thank you so much, we will definitely be coming back regularly from now on.

The team over at Pet Universe are amazing when it comes to grooming my 2 year old labby. Extremely professional and they tend to know more than the vets, always recommending new things for me to try with him so he can be as healthy as possible :) 5 star service every time I go 👍🏼
