A pet grooming salon welcomed a team of vets for a party to mark more than three years of trading in the borough. Pet Universe, Atherton Road, Clayhall, was visited by staff from Midland Veterinary Surgery in Leyton for the celebration.

Manager Svetlana Broussova said “The party was designed to introduce my staff to the team at Midland. We showed them around the premises and what kind of things we do.

“We are honoured that they took time out to come and I hope we can support each other in the future”

The salon caters for a range of animals including dogs, cats and hamsters.

Mrs Broussova, who worked as a vet in Russia for 19 years before emigrating, employs five people and has two apprentices. The salon recently set up a page on social networking website Facebook and can be found by searching Pet Universe Grooming Salon.
